Ashton Golf Club contacted us in search of a cost-effective and practical solution to support regular access and ground protection during maintenance works on their greens, bunkers, and fairways. The system needed to be lightweight, easy to install, and capable of protecting the turf from damage caused by small plant and machinery.
To meet their needs, we supplied our DuraMatt Light/Medium Duty Access Mats, which could be handled by one or two of their ground staff.
The smooth sided surface was ideal for the well kept grounds, to store and take away rolls of grass, mounds of sand, and excess soil. Compared to alternatives like plywood, DuraMatt offered many benefits, making it the preferred choice for the club’s ongoing maintenance needs.

Installation
The DuraMatts were installed and positioned as needed by Ashton Golf Club to support plant and machinery during their project. We also supplied Standard 2-Way Connectors, allowing the mats to be securely joined together for added stability.
