In Autumn 2021, MultiMatts Ltd was contacted by Ashridge House, a renowned country estate in Hertfordshire, UK, celebrated for its picturesque wedding and conference venue. The estate sought a practical solution to create a temporary car park for visitors during the colder, wetter months, with a key focus on protecting the existing ground from damage.
To meet these requirements, we supplied and delivered 600 Heavy Duty Access Mats—specifically E-Mats and EuroMats—paired with a Woven Geotextile Membrane to ensure a flat and stable base prior to installation. This combination provided a durable and mud-free surface capable of supporting frequent use by medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
