We were contacted to provide a temporary access solution for restoration works across 48 gas and water stations, where heavy plant and machinery needed reliable ground support. In many cases, the equipment had to pass over underground pipelines, requiring a solution that could effectively disperse weight and prevent damage.
We supplied K-Mat Heavy Duty Roadway Panels, which were used to construct multiple robust temporary roadways, to meet their needs. Over the course of four months, the panels were installed and de-installed several times as work progressed across all sites.
The K-Mats delivered excellent ground protection and ensured safe, efficient access for all machinery, while safeguarding the integrity of the underground infrastructure.
