We were recently contacted by a local charity to support an upcoming music event that required ground protection in high-footfall areas, as well as safe, accessible spaces for families to dance and enjoy live performances. The client also needed a solution that would remain safe in wet weather, avoiding any slip hazards.

In this situation, we supplied approximately 200 square metres of grey Portapath, which is a lightweight and effective ground protection system. It is designed to allow rainwater to drain through, along with a non-slip surface, even when the weather is poor.

Portapath was installed across several key areas, with the majority placed between marquees where guests could gather, dance, and enjoy the day. The event was a great success, and the organisers liked the performance and practicality of piecing the grids together.

Conclusion

Cross Tree House selected our hire service as the most suitable option for their event. This allowed them to reduce overall costs for the PortaPath event flooring over the two-week hire period, while also eliminating the need for storage once the event had concluded.
