During the summer of 2025, a new client came to us with a challenge to create a long, wide bearing access route that spanned around the perimeter of a school, allowing plant and machinery to work in conjunction with the crew.

The project came with a few requirements due to the sensitive nature of the route. The matting would be placed on top of the school field, meaning the client explained the severity of protecting the ground. The temporary track would need to minimise ground disturbance/damage, comply with health and safety standards, and have a versatile connection option due to the site shape.

For us to meet these requirements, we delivered and professionally installed our K-Mat Heavy Duty Roadway Panels, securing each panel together to accurately cover the area to which the plant would need to travel. Additionally, the mat features a large surface grip and a solid one-piece design, leading to safe movement and effective surface protection.

Conclusion

The customer decided to have the matting installed by our experienced team, which left them with a professional trackway route. Additionally, considering how the matting was hired, we will de-install the at the end of the project.
