As part of a demolition project at the old visitor’s centre in Sherwood Forest, the customer required a ground protection solution that would support plant and machinery while also being environmentally friendly and offering tree root protection.
To meet these needs, we supplied over 1,200 E-Mat Heavy Duty Access Mats, which were installed over a two-day period. These mats effectively distributed the weight of heavy equipment across the surface, minimising ground disturbance and protecting the sensitive forest environment.
